CHINESE NEW YEAR!

Class 6 celebrated the Chinese New Year on 23rd January.
We found out what year of the animal we were all born in and we know that this year is the year of the Dragon!
We learnt how to write our names in Chinese and we made Chinese Lanterns.
We also learnt how to count to 10 in Chinese!

St. Brigid's Crosses

Class 5 made lovely St. Brigid's Crosses on 1st February to mark the day. It was hard but fun to do.

Classes 3 and 4 went to Turlough Museum last week to learn how to make the crosses. That was fun!
