Beautiful willow bird feeders.

Friday 20th of March completed our Seachtain na Gaeilge celebrations.

We had Tom Delaney (Ould Crafty) from Claremorris an artist keeping the traditional craft of basket making alive.

Tom spent the day with us in St.Anthonys Special School explaining his craft and the willow and products he uses.

He helped the students to make beautiful bird feeders that they got to take home.

A huge thank you from everyone in St Anthonys Tom míle buiochas.

Also a míle buiochas do Moia Ní Fheirrigh who visited and all classes performed for our Cóimeáil Gaeilge.

Moia was very impressed with the standard of Gaeilge in the school.

We would highly recommend any school to invite Tom in for a workshop.

Great to keep our traditions alive and great fun too.
