Christmas shoe box appeal
The pupils in St. Anthony’s school collected many shoeboxes for the Shoebox appeal. They were very excited to bring joy to other children around the world. Our senses .
The theme for November in Primary 3 was ' Our senses'. The children explored different materials- rough, smooth, hard and soft. They completed beautiful selections of art using different textures. Designing their initials using variety of different fabrics & fibre. This was a big hit! Lovely work Primary 3!

Tile design workshop
The pupils got their tiles back which they made through the ‘Towards Inclusion’ programme with Davitt College students. They came back from the kiln and they look fabulous!

St. Anthony’s girls represented the school and Mayo and went to Sligo to partake in the ISSSC basketball tournament. They played against schools from Sligo, Donegal and Galway. Some brilliant skills and attitude on show.

We had a spook-tacular day in school .😱 We started with a Halloween parade around the school where all pupils and staff showed of their scary costumes . Senior E had a fantastic October.
Senior E had a fantastic October, filled with culture, learning, and a whole lot of fun! We kicked things off at the #Linenhall Arts Centre in Castlebar, where we enjoyed the heartwarming show “The Land of a Hundred Little Hills,” inspired by Patrick Kavanagh’s beloved Christmas poem.
