Happy World Down Syndrome Day from P2 and we celebrated autism awareness which is celebrated on the 2nd of April!

As part of our Wellbeing and music programme Anthony Mcnamee returned to St. Anthony’s School and the pupils loved seeing him return. A great fun musical morning!!

Primary 2 made Valentines cards to bring home to their loved ones ❤️

To celebrate National Lego day all the pupils got the chance to be as creative as they could making anything out of Lego. A great way to start the week.

What can we say?! Thank you to our local Penneys, Castlebar for an amazing donation. The pupils and staff of St. Anthony’s are overwhelmed with the kindness and generosity of you all and our community. Merry Christmas from all of us to all of you 🎄🎅✨🙏

In November we remember. All pupils decorated a candle for their loved ones. We will continue to pray for these special people and keep them in our thoughts and prayers for the month of November .

The pupils got their tiles back which they made through the ‘Towards Inclusion’ programme with Davitt College students. They came back from the kiln and they look fabulous!

Personal trainer and yoga instructor Neil Douglas came to St. Anthony’s and took all our pupils for a yoga session.

As part of maths week the pupils got to play lots of board games and other games which incorporates various maths skills. A fun way to learn maths!

As well as Sports Day the pupils also learnt how to play Kick rounders and Kwik cricket.

Luckily the rain held off for this years school sports day. The pupils took part in running, space hopper, egg and spoon and sack races....

In the month of May ‘We remember Our Lady’. Primary 2 used the flowers 🌺 🌹 🌷 from our May altar to create some colourful paintings...
